Blueberries are popping up in season all over Lebanon now and, as I am putting them into everything from smoothies to crisps as well as popping them into my mouth by the handful, I was really thrilled to find this infographic about just the punch these little beauties pack.

One of the most surprising benefits is the ability to prevent UTIs (urinary tract infections) and foster urinary tract health as good or better than cranberries.  This is good news for those suffering from interstitial cystitis as well as those prone to chronic urinary tract or yeast infections.
